This week we finally broke our summer drought! We have received a couple inches of rain. The pond is filled back up and the catfish are loving it! You are welcome to fish the pond when you visit. You can bring your own pole or rent 2 fishing poles and a tackle box for $20 for your whole stay.

In the evenings you can hear the frogs croaking. They are happy to have their habitat back to normal. We have so many types of frogs and toads in East Texas that love our forested habitat.
