The cows are loving all of the rain we have been receiving this past week. The pasture grass is growing again and the temperature has been about 15 degrees cooler.

We have 2 types of cows. One type is beef cows, which we specifically raise to fill the freezer to feed our family as well as to sell to our community to use as their own breeding stock or to feed their own families.
The second type of cows that we have are dairy cows, which we raise for milking. They provide more milk than a beef cow and they also will easily feed other calves that are not their own.
