I find myself daydreaming about having a lush and thriving hydroponics garden right on my patio. Well, my fellow dreamers, it's time to turn that vision into a reality! I imagine stepping onto my patio each morning, greeted by a vibrant and bountiful garden that's completely soil-free. With a little effort and some green-thumb enthusiasm, I hope to transform my patio into a hydroponics haven.
Why hydroponics, you ask? Well, it's a game-changer for those with limited outdoor space or those who have to deal with finicky weather. Hydroponics allows me to grow plants without soil, using a nutrient-rich water solution instead. It's efficient, space-saving, and incredibly rewarding. So, this summer I will be diving into the steps to make my patio hydroponics dreams come true!
The first thing I did was to set up my hydroponic units and plant my seeds. I also used my hydroponic system to propagate some mint and other plant cuttings. Look at the photos I have below to see what they look like currently.
